THANK YOU! I am truly grateful to everyone who is stepping up to help. To those who have reached into their pockets to help with the kids and the adults alike, I thank you! But I especially thank those of you who reached across the chasm of political divide and placed their hand in mine to walk forward with help for the kids. It is easy to support that with which you agree; but it takes a special human being to help because it is the right thing to do despite ideological differences. My friends, you know who you are. For the money for food, the meal to support MC and I as we reach out; for the kind words. We are eternally grateful. You have truly walked the talk! The road is long and there is much left to do, but I am proud to walk it with those who have chosen to help. The pathway to heaven is paved in the worn out soles of those who chose to Walk the Talk. Caring comes with pain, but it also has its rewards. MC and I had the pleasure of placing a brand new bike in the hands of a terrified little boy this evening and watch his face light up as he realized it even had gears! A little sunshine in a very dark week!
